Power and space on board for those who like to enjoy the sea with comfort. The latest addition to the Coastal Boat shipyard is a RIB with enormous spaces on board designed for a classy clientele who seeks for comfort without renouncing the thrill of speed.
Coastal 10 Rada is a 10.30 meter inflatable boat designed for short trips or cruises that offers unique spaces under deck. The big surprise, in fact, is represented by the large cabin with double bed, with a bathroom designed with style and that amazed even the same designers once realized.
Difficult to find similar spaces in the cabin on RIB of this type and the choice to address to this aspect is confirmed by the synergy with the fashion house Livio De Simone who also takes care of the upholstery offering a high-class product.
The pledge that you pay for these large interior spaces is the very small size of the stern-bow passageway, which leads to the huge bow sundeck able to accommodate four or five people in comfort.
No concession to tables or other solutions for a precise design choice that wants to make this boat perfect for those who want to enjoy sunny days in the middle of the sea.
The driving seat is very well made, with a particularly useful double glove compartment and a complete driving console thanks to the Suzuki instrumentation.
The aft sofa is completed with two folding tables behind the seat and precedes the huge stern sundeck that, despite its large size, does not sacrifice the side steps to the platforms, which are also very large.
A note for the anchor hidden under the bow even if it is a very widespread solution.
During navigation, Coastal 10 Rada, equipped with a pair of 300-horsepower Suzuki engines, enhances the performance of the Japanese outboards.
The project designed by the Guida study with a very deep hull and longitudinal runners allows the boat to offer optimal speed and consumption values for the owners.
The cruising speed, quite strong, between 28 and 34 knots can be obtained between 3700 and 4300 rpm with consumption ranging between 60 and 80 litters/hour, perfectly in line for the type of the engines.
We managed, with calm sea in the gulf of Naples and light wind from South-West, to exceed 48 knots to approximately 5800 rpm without the use of the trim, with which the engines can touch 50 knots offering some more rpm.
The confirmation of how this model can combine performance and comfort for an owner looking for an ideal hull for trips or short cruises.
