The Achilles' heel of the propeller is between the propshaft and its inner hub. If we want to give a short definition of a “spun” propeller, we would say that it is the weakness of responsiveness to the rotation of our engine's propshaft which is due to the detachment of the rubber hub of the propeller and to its following wear because of the friction and temperature increase
